Today for Zeal Zone, Team 5 began " Tinkering, Tools & Toys." Our class spent time brainstorming ways that we could make Pt. England a better place to be. I am in a group of 5 and their names are Tyli, Gia, Koula and I. Our group name is Minions. My group has decided that we are going to change the colour of the school uniform. So far we have chosen the colour Purple and Blue. The girls have skirts and the boys have shorts and girls and boys have T - Shirts.That's what the Minions have so far and we can't wait for Pt. England to know.

This afternoon we have been learning and researching about "INQUIRY" I have been learning about "The world in info graphics Technology. We had to choose a book and right 5 facts about the book that we read and then post it on our blog. This is my Think Board that I have made in my Maths Class. I had fun making it because it taught me some stuff that I haven't known before. Future Aspiration Day Yesterday morning we had some special visitors coming to have a little korero with us year 7 & 8's. We had to go to our home class's and then come back to the Street at 9.30. When we got split into our Home Class's I was walking to my desk and wondering what are they going to look like? , what are they going to talk about? , have I seen them before? Then I also thought to myself what are they going to talk about? After my little day dream my lovely teacher Mrs Moala said to us "Room 4 come and sit on the mat" and then we went and sat on the mat. She then said to us lets watch some of these videos of the special visitors that are going to come. This is my Think Board that I made during Maths Class with the lovely teacher Miss Clark. We have been learning to use our fractions and Multiplication in everything. Miss Clark said if we don't know our times tables we can't do our fractions or also our division. Thats why I love being in Miss Clark's class because she teach's us lots of cool things. Yay! We are playing our first game of Netball. I was so , so excited when I walked home to get ready for our first game. When I got home I had a shower then got dressed and I asked my dad "Can you drop me off to the AMI Netball Courts" and he said "Ok get in the car." While we were driving I thinking of us winning or losing but then I said to myself "I know we will win just have faith in yourself" so I just waiting until we started. Suddenly I heard the car do that noise like it was going to stop and I was right we were there already. I hoped out of the and I said bye to my dad. My dad has left and I was still standing there like I didn't have a place to go but then I turned around and I saw my team mates and they yelled at me saying "May come and get changed we are standing soon" so I rushed to get my Netball Uniform and quickly got dressed. Lest We forget Australia New Zealand Army Corps It’s hard to imagine what those Soldiers went through at the war. After sitting outside looking at the memorial it makes me feel sad for those Soldiers that didn't know what they were going to get once they get there. It makes me think those kids without a father and those ladies without their husbands. When I think of the Soldiers it makes me think of blood , shooting , Yelling , Death & also hurt feelings. Hurt feeling to those who lost their loved ones or also there best friend. Some of those Soldiers went to war at a very small age and didn't know what they were going to expect. I know that those soldiers families are very proud of them. While I was looking at that memorial the feeling that came to me were Sad , Thankful & Proud. Sad that they went to the war and died so our land can be peaceful and so we all can be free. Thankful for all their work that they have done & also Proud of the effort

We have been learning all about World War 1. We have been making a presentation about some facts based on Anzac and basically World War 1.   I have been working on this with some friends and it has been an awesome experience.
